Journalist Alican Uludağ, who was taken into detention yesterday from his home in Ankara and brought to Istanbul on the grounds of his social media posts, has been arrested on charges of ‘publicly insulting the President’. As he was being taken away following the arrest decision, Uludağ stated, ‘Stand tall! Alican Uludağ has not been silenced and will not be silenced.’
